Process

In a project, the task represents a time-defined process with a start and end time. Within a process there are usually several tasks that must be processed and completed within this time frame. How long a process takes is determined by the amount of work required for each individual task.

A task can also be postponed if it is dependent on its predecessor. With the help of the Gantt chart, relationships and dependencies of individual tasks can be displayed and monitored.
